Writer's blog!

Well, well, well!
Hello dear space and dear people! (or 'person/s' seems more fitting, considering that 'people' tend not to visit blogs that have been dead for over a year)

As the title says, this is a writer's blog. They say that 'writer's block is god's way of telling you that you're not a writer.' Well... this is my way of telling god to take a running jump!
The reason I didn't write for so long was that I couldn't. Or whenever I could, it always turned out to be something that didn't really 'go' with my previous entries- for the want of a better word. Does that mean I've changed? Does that mean I've grown? Does that mean I understand the world more or better now?
You can pick your answer to those questions from the following:
A) Yeah... you wish!
B) No! Nothing of the sort.
C) :-/

...whatever the reason, it didn't seem fair on the previous entries, nor on the new ones. There was a time when I even contemplated wrapping up Music and Lyrics and starting afresh! But then I thought about the last time I tried to come up with a new name for a new blog and could suddenly hear my mum telling me to 'eat up everything on the plate first!'

So here I am! Fighting down urges to make feeble and vile jokes about being an 'event related' writer rather than a 'blocked' one, and hoping that it will be less than a year before the next time I give in to the stunning and neon delusion of being able to make music and lyrics!

She could do wonders with words... No less than a wordsmith at work... Then as words fail you, somewhere down the road you begin to wonder if that’s it…sounds like a classic case of the Writers block!!

...But then I feel there is lot more to come from you.. Vignetted colors of fall or unspoken pain- sometimes that’s all it takes!.. And one fine day you sit there with a smile & sweet crisp poetry in front!! - it was there..in you - all this time..never lost!!.. what some have come to call ‘A writer’s hope’ - something to hold on to!…

But till that day comes, it would be dim lantern lights and thousand wasted drafts on crumbled notes to get the lone poet through the silence of the night .. something we all hav to go through..But I can tell there is lot more to come from you - sweet crisp poetry!!
